Benjamin G. Torian, Attorney at Law
About Firm
Meet Benjamin G. Torian

Benjamin G. Torian spent his early childhood on the Texas side of Toledo Bend Lake, and his teenage years in Cajun Country (Lafayette, Louisiana). Having a family full of legal minds, Ben always knew his career path. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
His career in real estate spans over 28 years. He began abstracting title at 15 years old for his father in Lafayette Parish, then continued abstracting and leasing property for various entities throughout college and even during his years at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. After receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2010, he started his own abstracting and leasing company where he managed real estate projects throughout Louisiana. The time away from Acadiana wore on him, which prompted him to join a regional law firm (Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith) in 2015, where the majority of his practice consisted of real estate title litigation. He represented various Title Insurance Companies, where his main objective was to cure defects in real estate title and fix issues that occurred during the closing process.
After six years at the big law firm, he decided it was time for him to go out on his own. His many years of experience in abstracting and real estate title litigation led him to one conclusion: Real Estate Closings. Although Ben offers other services pertaining to real estate law, he is primarily focused on Real Estate Closings in the Acadiana area. He is currently licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. The autonomy of owning his own Firm has allowed him to give back to the community in various ways, such as sponsoring the Ragin Cajun Football, Baseball and Basketball teams, supporting local organizations and events, such as Acadiana Animal Aid, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Hogs for the Cause (the premier nationwide funding source for pediatric brain cancer), Camp Bon Coeur (an organization supporting children with congenital heart defects), and many others.
The passion and satisfaction of helping Acadiana’s realtors change the lives of their clients by closing on a home is what consistently brings him back to the closing table time after time. He loves seeing the smile and excitement on the face of a first-time homebuyer and is thankful to have played a small role in getting them to that pivotal point in their lives. In less than four years, Torian Law has closed over 1,000 transactions in the Acadiana area, with more growth on the rise. Ben is truly passionate about helping realtors’ clients close on their perfect home!
Father of Stella Sutton Torian (his 4 year old daughter) and Maximus Centurion Torian (his 9 year old Portuguese Water Dog), avid sports enthusiast, hunter, and enjoyer of any social activity around, Ben loves to serve his community through real estate closings and giving back to organizations in need.
